Animals Digging in My Lawn

Digging animals can be a real nuisance for homeowners. Try these tips from Weed Man Burlington to help deter them.

• Sprinkle chili powder, cayenne pepper, red pepper flakes, black peppercorns, moth balls, Critter Ridder or Ropel in the area where digging is happening
• Pour epsom salts on areas that are not grass where animals may be walking
• Spray peppermint or mint smelling spray around the area (Pinesol scent may also help)
• Spray oil of cayenne pepper in the area
• Spray an old cloth with Fox urine and let it blow in the wind to emit scent
• Put a bar of soap in a pair of pantyhose and hang from a tree to emit scent
• Try a pest-chaser or chicken wire/snow fence laid on the lawn
